Quiche in a Cup Cake Maker.

Today   is   the  second   day  of   blogging.  Today I made mini  quiche  with   my  Mom.  We  made   bacon, onion and corn  quiche and  roast chicken.  I used the cupcake maker my friend Maddie gave me when I was in the hospital.  I think the quiche had too much flour.  I used a recipe from the edmonds cook book which used 1 cup of pancake mix and 2 cups of milk.  I think it was too much milk and flour and not enough eggs.  My family ate them though.

  1. Hi Matisse, you are doing great in the kitchen. Good to hear you are getting better. The Edmonds cook book is a good place to get ideas from as it is the highest selling book ever in NZ. Best wishes from the west coast of the south island New Zealand.

  2. My goodness, do you slave in a hot kitchen all day? Those quiches look sooooo good. Its not often that the Edmonds Cook book gets it wrong, maybe its the Americian flour, it could be different to NZ's. I noticed your cupcake maker in a photo that Dad sent - that was so nice of Maddie, and such a good present for you. I don't think Grandad has sent you a message yet - watch out he will be sending you his famous scrambled egg receipe.
    Lots of Love Gran.

  5. So happy for you Matisse! You are an inspiration to us. Juliana will be going in to get her gut fixed too next month and I hope she is as strong as you are. She also loves food but is not quite old enough yet to cook. I would have choosen the calamari also as my first meal. It's my favorite! Can't wait to see what's cooking next!

Good for you! I live in Oklahoma - no squid on the menus here, but your idea for the quiche in cupcake pan is great. I live alone and am going to make that. Keep up the good works.
